The leadership team at BAR-U-EAT approached Pure Strategic with the task of creating an online experience that matches the quality and great taste of their bars.


After collaborating closely with the BAR-U-EAT team, sampling the products, and completing our assessment and alignment exercise, we concluded key differentiators and area’s to showcase were their amazingly simple ingredients that not only taste great but also leave you feeling healthy and satisfied, the industry first 100% BPI certified compostable packaging and the authenticity and passion of the founders.


We determined that our focus should be on the great taste created by simple, quality ingredients, the passion of the founders, and their commitment to sustainability via their BPI-certified compostable packaging. To contribute to the growth of their product, we aimed to promote trial, foster advocacy, and build an professional online presence packed with personality.

Our media team crafted a thoughtful content strategy that captures the essence of BAR-U-EAT. This approach highlights their simple, high-quality ingredients, certified compostable packaging, and the adventure that awaits after enjoying their bars. We professionally shot content to transparently showcase the great taste, quality ingredients, and unwavering commitment to sustainability that define the BAR-U-EAT brand.

While creative copy, photography, and video are excellent at sparking interest, nothing compares to the experience of trying the bars firsthand. Our team created a sample program for BAR-U-EAT that allows new customers to try a variety of bars. Once customers provided their information, the bars were sent directly to them. This approach enabled us to follow up with prospective customers personally, offering incentives to return and make a purchase or to share their positive experience with friends and family.

Our objective was to create a phenomenal online experience for BAR-U-EAT, and the client and Pure Strategic are thrilled with the results. We contributed to a new website, an Amazon storefront, digital media, marketing campaigns, and sample programs, all of which culminated in an exceptional online presence that seamlessly extended into brick-and-mortar stores.
