Create a digital strategy to support conversions at brick and mortar retail while growing brand awareness and loyalty across social channels.


To drive sales at the retail level, Pure Strategic developed a digital strategy to enhance and optimize functionality of the existing website, provide paid search and social media support, all with the ultimate goal of driving sales in-store. Through updates to the site and targeted social media campaigns focused around brand awareness, email acquisition, and page likes, Pure Strategic would be able to position Boulder Organic! for substantial growth.

Tactical Efforts

Strategic pieces of the social campaigns included developing an original content calendar with a weekly cadence of recipes and soup-related articles to support SEO on the website and increase engagement on social channels. The recipes were leveraged for seasonal recipe books that were pushed out through email marketing. The social calendar was also aligned with partnership efforts to maximize overall effectiveness. Pure Strategic worked closely with Boulder Organic!’s public relations partner to support blogger and influencer outreach. Fans of the Boulder Organic! social channels were also encouraged to engage with and advocate for the brand through a weekly giveaway on Instagram. To help visitors find Boulder Organic! in stores, traffic was driven to the online store locator.


The proper mix of product and lifestyle photography helped to tell the story of Boulder Organic. This original imagery complemented the copy and contributed to great engagement and growth of their social channels.

In just 6 months, Pure Strategic was able to build a portfolio of original content and grow Boulder Organic!’s Facebook following over 600%. By the beginning of Q4, Pure Strategic had exceeded Boulder Organic!’s end of year social media growth goal.
