Pocket Esthetician App
As a long-term partner, Pure Strategic identified an underutilized resource within the MyChelle organization: a team of highly trained estheticians manning their customer service department. Previously, MyChelle hadn’t marketed this unique resource to existing or potential customers. Pure Strategic saw an opportunity to leverage the highly trained talent pool to provide added value to customers engaging with the brand while driving revenue through cost effective tactics and innovative strategy.
Pure Strategic conceptualized and built an iOS app dubbed Pocket Esthetician that allowed users to connect via FaceTime with a MyChelle esthetician for assessment and guidance on their specific skincare needs and recommended products. The backend of the app consisted of a Video Call Queue that allowed the staff to take video calls at any time, in any location. Additionally, the app pushed out content such as a “Tip of the Day” to users, and also provided the MyChelle marketing staff with the ability to share incentives and special offers via SMS messaging. Built and launched in 2011, the Pocket Esthetician app was ahead of its time, utilizing cutting-edge technology to create a personalized connection between the brand and their current and future customers.
